Key research aspects _CMN_PDF _CMN_PRINT _CMN_EMAIL
The emphasis of research is located in the field of organometallic chemistry and in adjacent areas and targeted at catalytic problems. By expansion of old and new synthetic strategies and the use of structural data mostly metals (among them: Rhenium,Osmium, Rhodium and Palladium) bound to hydrocarbons are applied to current problems, which are mainly also of industrial interest. Special interest goes to catalytic reactions of CC-unsaturated Hydrocarbons (Alkines, Olefines, Aromatic compounds) and especially CC-coupling reactions.

Catalytic research

Basic research (z. B. Synthetic chemistry, Structuralchemistry, Spectroscopy) and industrially relevant Processes (Olefin-Metathesis, Olefin-Oxidation, Olefin-Polymerisation, Aldehyde-Olefination, Oxidation of aromatics, Hydroformylation - Dualphasesystems and enantioselective Hydroformylation - , Heck-Couplingreactions)

Ceramics based on molecular chemistry

Lanthanoid-Chemistry

Metallocen-catalysts (z. B. Ti, Zr, Hf, Nb, Ta: Synthesis, Structure, Activity)

Heterocyclic Carbenes as directing ligands in homogenous catalysis

Organometallic chemistry (Synthesis, Structural chemistry, Spektroscopy)
